Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements for lending products, processes, and systems through interviews, workshops, and research.Analyze current lending processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize operations and mitigate risks.Support solution design by translating business requirements into functional specifications and process models.Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.Prepare process documentation, user guides, and training materials to support system adoption.Collaborate with stakeholders, including loan officers, underwriters, risk managers, and IT teams, to ensure alignment and resolve issues.Contribute to project planning, progress tracking, and reporting using project management tools.Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards throughout project activities.Requirements
Tertiary qualification in a business, actuarial, finance or technology disciplineCurrently enrolled in an MBA program or have obtained the qualification with a well ranked institutionMinimum 6-8 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and / or Financial Services Industry – Banking InstitutionsKnowledge of Southeast Asia market, the core trends and drivers, with proficiency in articulating regulatory, economic, technological, and business impacts on key institutionsExperience in business analysis on lending projects within banking or financial services.Proficiency in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Excel.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a client-focused environment.Experience supporting or delivering lending system implementations (e.g., loan origination or servicing systems).Exposure to commercial lending processes or experience in relevant business roles (e.g., Relationship Manager, product owner, or similar).Familiarity with general ledger (GL) principles and regulatory requirements as they relate to lending.Knowledge of digital transformation, automation, and industry-specific lending platforms (e.g., FIS, Finastra).Experience with change management, end-user training, and adoption support.Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio) and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Understanding of payment processing, AI, and risk management as they specifically relate to lending operations.Due to volume of applications, we regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
