Embedded System Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded System Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software for our cutting‑edge embedded products. The role requires strong programming skills, a deep understanding of real‑time systems, and the ability to work closely with hardware engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design the overall software architecture for embedded systems, selecting appropriate hardware components and defining software interfaces.
  • Write and implement code for embedded systems using C / C++ and related tools.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure proper integration between software and hardware components.
  • Develop real‑time software where timing constraints and deterministic behavior are critical.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and verification of embedded software using debugging tools, simulators, and emulators.
  • Optimize software performance, reduce memory footprint, and enhance power management.
  • Produce technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and API references.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (firmware engineers, system architects) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide ongoing support, bug fixes, and software updates throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stay current with industry standards and regulations relevant to embedded systems.

  • Weekly schedule : 週休二日 (two days off per week)
  • Location : New Taipei City, Xizhi District, No. 79, Xintai Road, 11F, remote work option available
  • Salary : 面議（經常性薪資達 4 萬元或以上）

    • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux, C, and C++.
  • Excellent command of English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
  • Experience with system architecture design, firmware integration testing, and software architecture planning.
