Role : Social Media Manager

About the role :

Working in true collaboration with our client we have one goal in mind : ‘to be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective Needs based content and digital media campaigns’.

These brands are at the forefront of contemporary thinking, utilising in-depth insight for digital strategy and content advertising. They are also dedicated to sustainability and foregrounding a brand purpose, which means the work we do with them requires working creative thinking into every brief, regardless of scale.

We are currently looking to hire a Social media manager with 2+ years experience to manage social networks for a top FMCG client

The successful candidate will have a strong background of working with digital and social agencies, and mustexcel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work, across planning, strategy and media.

Aneditorial background and creative skills such as Photoshop would be an advantage.

What you will be doing :

• Manage and supervise social media executives that will report directly to Social Media Manager
• Managing all inbound comments just in case there’s an issue or crisis going on with appropriate responses and escalations
• Supervise the social media executives to post and schedule all contents keep the content and cultural calendar up to date
• Helping to plan the content calendars
• Helping to develop copy to support our visual content
• Participating in creative brainstorms alongside the Creative team
• Having a great understanding of social channels
• Staying up to date with updates and changes across the social platforms and communicating these to team members
• Able to create social media strategy and have a strategic thinking or mind
• Staying up to date with the ongoing trends and how to apply it to the Brands
