Role Purpose
The Manager – Data & Insights will be responsible for building and
leading the analytics function for the company. This role ensures
that data-driven decision-making becomes central to marketing, operations, and
business strategy. The candidate will leverage analytics, research, and
insights to drive customer understanding, optimize performance, and support business
growth.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Insights Leadership
Develop and
execute the company’s data and insights strategy to support business
goals.
Translate
consumer, market, and performance data into actionable insights that drive
decisions across marketing, operations, and NPD.
Research & Consumer Understanding
Lead consumer
research projects to understand trends, behaviors, and preferences.
Partner with
marketing, product, and operations teams to apply insights in campaign
design, product launches, and customer experience.
Performance Measurement
Establish
measurement frameworks for marketing campaigns, promotions, and media
investments.
Provide ROI
analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Data Management & Tools
Partner with
IT / Digital teams to ensure robust data infrastructure, reporting
dashboards, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Drive adoption
of analytics tools and ensure stakeholders have access to reliable data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the key
partner to Marketing, Digital, Finance, and Operations, ensuring data is
embedded in all decision-making processes.
Present
insights to leadership, influencing strategy with evidence-based
recommendations.
Team Leadership
Mentor and grow
a small team of analysts, researchers and partner agencies.
Build long-term
capability to evolve the department into a Data & Insights Excellence.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s
degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or related field
(Master’s preferred).
Minimum 4–9
years of experience in analytics, consumer insights, or research in FMCG,
QSR, retail, or technology.
Proven
expertise in data-driven marketing, predictive modelling, and insights
generation.
Strong
technical skills with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python / R, Power BI,
Tableau).
Demonstrated
ability to communicate complex data in simple, business-relevant ways.
Experience
leading teams or agencies.
Strong
strategic mindset with ambition to grow into a Director of Data &
