Overview
Our client is a speciality coffee company recognised globally for its modern concept stores, artisanal offerings, and innovative culinary approach. They are currently seeking a Store Manager to oversee the pre-opening setup and daily operations of the store, ensure the consistent delivery of the brand's signature guest service, guide and empower the store team, and drive operational excellence while maximizing financial performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally within hospitality, food & beverage, or another customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, deliver excellent customer service, and manage store operations effectively.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, guide, and empower team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including handling customer concerns and partner relationships professionally.
- Solid knowledge of inventory control, cash management, and store financial operations.
- Familiarity with hygiene standards, quality assurance, and compliance with local regulations.
- Skilled in preparing staff schedules and managing day-to-day operational needs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on service quality and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in handling store audits and mystery shopper evaluations, with the ability to implement improvements from feedback.
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to foster a positive team culture while achieving store goals and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic business management software.
Key Responsibilities
Drive profitability by identifying and maximizing sales opportunities.Support daily operations, including cash handling, customer service, cleaning, and addressing customer concerns.Ensure smooth store operations and achieve successful outcomes in audits, including mystery evaluations.Monitor and manage team performance, providing coaching and constructive feedback.Oversee preparation and presentation of sample products.Manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely ordering of supplies.Develop weekly staff schedules and determine staffing needs.Handle and resolve partner or stakeholder concerns, escalating issues to the area manager when required.Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and cash-handling procedures across the team.Oversee equipment functionality, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.Conduct monthly inventory checks and prepare action plans for improvement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
