About the Role

The Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Engineer will ensure that all laboratory instruments are well-maintained, calibrated, and fully functional, minimizing downtime and supporting reliable test results. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to train laboratory staff on correct usage of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as chromatographs, spectrometers, incubators, balances, ovens, and related devices.
• Calibrate instruments and maintain documentation in line with ISO 17025 requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and service providers; liaise to coordinate external interventions as needed.
• Train laboratory staff on proper equipment usage and routine maintenance procedures.
