Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Extensive experience in human resources management, preferably in the financial services industry or private equity firms.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices in China and other relevant regions.
Strong understanding of compensation and benefits structures, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, capable of leading a team and fostering a positive work culture.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant software.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that align with the firm's objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to support the firm's growth and expansion in Mandarin-speaking regions.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local regulations.
Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance evaluations, career development, and employee engagement.
Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering their professional development and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations in Mandarin-speaking regions, ensuring compliance and adapting HR practices accordingly.
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to address strategic HR issues and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
