As an Associate II, Logistics & Freight Management, you will be responsible for supervising, monitoring, execute and maintaining outbound & inbound delivery (EXIM), and receiving operation.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Supervise, monitor, reporting and execute Warehouse daily operational activities in section logistics (inbound & outbound delivery).
• Supervise, monitor, reporting and execute Warehouse daily operational activities in section Receiving warehouse and reporting.
• Liaise with freight forwarder, vendor / consignee for shipment arrangement.
• Liaise with authorities for import-export permit or import matter.
• Supervise, monitor and maintain associates are following SOP’s operational, Quality & Safety (HSE), AFCM & ISRM guideline.
• In additional, so that associates working effectively, productively, accurately, upgrading their functional and technical skills sets.
• Support others Warehouse operations (material storage, material issuance, goods disposal, FG shipment preparation).
• Execute and ensure action plans to achieve agreed upon departmental key performance indicator targets.
• Instill a positive work ethics in assigning highest priority to customer satisfaction, action oriented, quality focus, mutual respect, trust and integrity.
• Practice and uphold Information Security policy and Code of Conducts.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
• Degree in Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong command of English (speaking and writing)
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse import/export regulations.
• Well-organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with SAP
