We are looking for a Shipping Executive to be based in Lobam, Bintan, Kepulauan Riau. The Shipping Executive will ensure that orders are shipped to the customers on time in the most cost-efficient method and that any issue or any problem with the shipment will be resolved.

Requirements:

• Male/Female
• Bachelor/Diploma degree in any field
• Knowledgeable in Shipping, Logistics, and Supply Chain
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of customs documentation, shipping, and logistics
• Meticulous, attention to details, organized, good communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work well with others
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong negotiation skills
• Able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Job Requirements

• Request for freight quotation from forwarder and quote accordingly to the customer or to CSIS;
• Ensure that all shipping documents are complete and in order;
• Book shipments with the freight forwarder;
• Apply export permit;
• Coordinate with Singapore warehouse staff for the collection of shipments;
• Coordinate with hauler for containerized shipments;
• Check bill of lading and airway bill and ensure all details are correct;
• Check draft forms and ensure all details are correct prior to application to avoid delays;
• Send pre-alert to customers;
• Monitor shipment status and update customer;
• Apply for insurance of shipments that require separate insurance policy
• Comply with ISO 9001,14001,13485 standard requirements
