Job Description Summary

The Supply Chain Manager will demonstrate exceptional leadership in shaping and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies across the organization. This role will directly oversee the Materials and the Planning & Logistics organization, driving synergy and optimization across all facets of the supply chain. You will leverage extensive experience and expertise to identify and resolve complex challenges, develop and implement strategic objectives, and spearhead continuous improvements in supply chain processes and systems, with a strong focus on enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager will be accountable for the overall strategic direction, performance, and continuous improvement of the supply chain, ensuring seamless operations from planning to delivery.

• Provide overall supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and key performance indicators, including the S&OP process.
• Lead the S&OP process, facilitating meetings and ensuring consensus across functions for demand and supply planning.
• Establish and monitor key supply chain KPIs, driving improvement initiatives based on operational conditions and ensuring achievement of business targets.
• Oversee and optimize inventory levels, working capital management, and achieve inventory turns targets across all material categories.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across the supply chain, focusing on lean principles and process optimization.
• Ensure overall compliance with legal, ethical, and internal regulations within the supply chain operations.
• Lead Materials and Planning & Logistics organization, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous development.
• Champion strong communication and collaboration across all functions, including Operations, Finance, and Sales, to ensure integrated supply chain operations.
• Manage external customs audits and resolve issues to ensure compliance with global customs regulations.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining high service levels.
• Implement and optimize supply chain systems and tools, including SAP, to enhance visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Drive initiatives for risk mitigation and problem-solving within the supply chain, utilizing methodologies like 8D for effective resolution.
• Lead and participate in regular performance reviews and planning meetings to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure the development and implementation of robust supplier management strategies to optimize material flow and quality.
• Spearhead new employee orientation and onboarding programs within the supply chain department, promoting a strong understanding of roles and responsibilities.
