Position Overview
The Procurement Asst. Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing all food ingredients, packaging, kitchen equipment, and non-food supplies for the restaurant chain. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement that supports operational excellence, brand consistency, and business growth.

Job Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for food, packaging, and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize cost efficiency.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
Procurement Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with operations, kitchen, and finance teams to determine purchasing needs.Maintain an annual procurement plan that aligns with business expansion and seasonal needs.Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.Cost & Inventory Control
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to inform purchasing strategies.Track orders, lead times, and stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock.Maintain budget discipline while minimizing waste.Quality & Compliance Assurance
Ensure all products meet company standards, Halal Certification , and food safety regulations.Resolve product non-compliance issues promptly with suppliers.Keep accurate procurement records per legal and internal requirements.Process Improvement & Reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes.Produce procurement reports, including spend analysis and supplier performance data.Support the adoption of digital tools for efficiency.Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
Guide and train junior procurement staff where applicable.Collaborate with marketing and R&D for new product or packaging sourcing.Act as the key liaison between suppliers and internal teams.Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in F&B or QSR.Proven track record in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and equipment for multi-unit operations.Industry Knowledge
Understanding of F&B procurement processes, vendor management, and cost control.Familiarity with food safety, Halal Compliance , and local regulations.Experience with imports and supplier audits is an advantage.Technical & Analytical Skills
Strong skills in market analysis, inventory control, and demand forecasting.Proficient in ERP / POS systems, procurement software, and MS Office.Skilled in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.Capable of developing long-term supplier partnerships.Soft Skills & Attributes
