Overview
Sales Engineer – Our client is a leading Japanese robotics company specializing in robotic palletizing systems, conveyor solutions, and industrial automation. With decades of global experience and a strong market presence in Asia, the company supports industries such as FMCG, pharmaceutical, chemical, fertilizer, animal feed, and consumer goods. In Indonesia, they are expanding their local operations to strengthen customer support and capture new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors / agents and end customers across industries such as F&B, pharmaceutical, chemical, fertilizer, animal feed, and consumer goods.
- Understand customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions (robot palletizers, conveyor systems, automation).
- Prepare quotations, deliver technical presentations, and lead negotiations until project closure.
- Coordinate closely with technical and management teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular customer meetings and site visits to identify new business opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong engineering background (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field).Experience in automation, robotics, conveyor systems, or industrial equipment is preferred.Existing network within F&B, pharmaceutical, chemical, fertilizer, and animal feed industries is highly valued.Experience or network with EPC contractors or machinery manufacturers in these industries is a strong plus.Programming knowledge (PLC, C programming, or automation software) is an advantage.Excellent communication, technical presentation, and negotiation skills.Willingness to travel domestically as required.Good command of English, both spoken and written.Seniority level
