The Position

As a Senior IT Operations Engineer, your mission is to elevate our IT support and system management to world-class standards. You’ll solve complex technical issues and strategize on IT infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and optimal performance. Your leadership will build upon our foundations, enhancing our SaaS environment and macOS fleet management for our global team, affectionately known as "Remoters".

This senior position demands a blend of technical prowess, strategic planning, and team leadership. You’re expected to :

• Lead by example, setting high standards in system administration, particularly for SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Okta, and in endpoint management for macOS.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing deep knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Drive initiatives that enhance our IT infrastructure, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.
• Act as a key decision-maker in the selection and implementation of IT tools and practices that align with Remote’s long-term vision.

At a glance, salary bands may appear wide. Remote uses geo ranges to reflect geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy while hiring globally. The base salary range for this full-time position is USD 37,450 to USD 84,250. Final base pay depends on location, skills, experience, and market conditions. The range may change over time.
