QA Engineer

Role Purpose

Drive product quality by building robust QA processes, executing tests across web and mobile, and delivering clear, actionable bug reports. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to triage issues, analyze defect trends, and ensure a smooth, reliable user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build structured QA processes, documentation, and reporting
• Define and maintain test cases, regression plans, and test environments
• Create actionable bug reports, analyze defect trends, and lead issue triage with developers and product managers
• Evaluate and implement QA tooling (e.g., Testrail, Jira integrations)
• Act as the voice of quality, ensuring functional excellence and a smooth user experience
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for complex web and mobile features
• Establish scalable test documentation and QA workflows
• Perform exploratory, regression, UI, cross-browser testing, and API testing
• Create detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with product and engineering to clarify requirements
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Analyze production issues and coordinate regression retests
• Own QA metrics and defect trend analysis to guide product quality decisions
