Uraian TugasBachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience with VSAT or satellite communication equipment and RF systems. Practical knowledge of antenna alignment, link budgeting, spectrum analysis and network interfaces (IP routing / switching). Experience working with satellite gateways is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. We are a local Indonesian VSAT service provider managing two gateways delivering reliable satellite communication solutions to our clients.
Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Equipment Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot VSAT equipment to ensure high system availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, commission and decommission VSAT terminals, antennas, modems and related RF equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and fault isolation on gateway and field equipment.
- Conduct site surveys, alignment, link tests and performance verification.
- Coordinate with network, NOC and field teams to resolve incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, test reports and operational documentation.
- Provide technical support to customers and local partners / resellers when required.
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional travel to field sites.
