A&R Manager

Universal Music Group is in search of an A&R Manager to be based in Jakarta.

About the role :

Manage & coordinate full A&R lifecycle, from research to recording / production process to product release

Oversee and be accountable for project expenditures & budgets

Identify repertoire, specifically video elements, for commercial exploitation through archive research and asset management

Maintain strict quality control of products & releases

At least 3 years of related experience

Experience successfully managing A&R and budget process for a product release from origination to product completion

Must be current on today's music industry environment including streaming / digital platforms

Ability to multi-task, ensure meticulous attention to detail, prioritize and work well under pressure & deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment

Strong understanding of the music industry & recording methods and technology

Proven track record initiating, originating, managing and successfully completing all relevant aspects of recorded music releases and projects

Proficient in Microsoft offices (Excel, Words, Outlook etc.)
