About the Role
As a Director within Workforce Transformation, you will serve as a trusted advisor and practice leader, guiding multidisciplinary teams in solving complex business challenges from strategy to execution. You will play a pivotal role in expanding and deepening client relationships, delivering high-impact engagements across HR Strategy & Transformation, Change Management, Leadership, Culture, Organisation Design, Workforce Transformation, and People Analytics.
What You'll Do
- Shape HR strategy and transformation — Define, structure, and implement improvements to the HR function aligned with clients' strategic imperatives, including organisational vision, mission, goals, and operational priorities.
- Optimise organisational performance — Drive initiatives that maximise HR and organisational effectiveness, fostering a culture centred on delivering measurable business value.
- Lead client engagements — Direct end-to-end delivery of complex projects, collaborating with senior client stakeholders, executive leadership, and PwC's cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Ensure delivery excellence — Oversee project teams to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery with a clear focus on quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Develop strategies and roadmaps — Design and execute forward-looking solutions that address clients' evolving needs across the dimensions of insight, efficiency, effectiveness, and governance.
- Engage stakeholders continuously — Maintain proactive communication with key stakeholders in support of people strategy, actively soliciting feedback to enhance programme design and capability uplift.
- Drive business development — Lead pursuits across the sales cycle, contributing to practice growth, market eminence, and thought leadership.
- Develop future leaders — Actively coach, mentor, and guide junior consultants, investing in their professional growth and building team capability.
- Cultivate senior relationships — Demonstrate exceptional technical credibility and relationship management with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Champion innovation — Stay at the forefront of industry best practices, emerging frameworks, and market trends to sustain a best-in-class, highly innovative practice.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience within the human capital domain, with a strong track record of advisory or consulting delivery.
- Subject matter expertise: Deep knowledge across a range of HR and workforce-related disciplines, including HR Transformation, Change Management, Leadership Development, Organisation Design, and/or People Analytics.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead complex, multi-workstream engagements and manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Stakeholder management: Demonstrated experience engaging, influencing, and building trusted relationships with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
- Team development: A genuine commitment to coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Collaboration: A natural ability to thrive within diverse, inclusive, and cross-functional teams across geographies and service lines.
- Adaptability: Comfort navigating complex, dynamic environments with ambiguity, and the ability to work independently while driving results at scale.
- Technical proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and relevant digital tools.
