ASSISTANT FARM MANAGER

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in agriculture / forestry or related field
• 3-5 years experience in agriculture or field based operations
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Independent, proactive, eager to learn and results oriented
• Strong social / interpersonal skills
• Exposed to meeting and/or working with people from different cultures and background (Ideally has travelled outside home region / overseas and especially Asia)
• Willing to learn different languages
• Comfortable to live / work in remote area
• Hobbies are outdoors / sport related

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Oversee daily field operations activities: planting, harvesting, crop care & road maintenance. (PDCA)
• Coordinate efficient transportation of harvested fruit from estate to mills.
• Analyse field productivity data to identify areas for performance improvement (for daily activities and process improvement initiatives).
• Mentoring and upskilling of field workers and coworkers.
