The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, costing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Supervise daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end closing activities. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports. Monitor product costing, inventory valuation, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure accuracy and support business decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant stakeholders during audits and financial reviews. Lead and develop the accounting team while supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Strong experience in financial reporting, inventory accounting, product costing, and COGS analysis. Background from a reputable public accounting firm (Big 4/Big 10) is an advantage. Good understanding of PSAK, taxation, and internal control frameworks. Experience working in a multinational manufacturing company is preferred. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Conversational Hokkien proficiency will be an advantage. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Willing to work on Saturdays (half-day).
