About The Client:
Koeta Rice Bowls is a modern fast-casual dining concept that redefines everyday comfort food with fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and fast service. Inspired by Indonesia's rich culinary heritage, we specialize in handcrafted rice bowls made with premium locally sourced ingredients, including quality rice from Balinese farmers. Every bowl is thoughtfully prepared to deliver a satisfying dining experience without compromising on quality, flavour, or speed.
Rooted in the philosophy "Jangan mencari nasi di antara bulir padi"—"Don't look for rice among the rice grains"—Koeta believes that the best food comes from keeping things simple and focusing on what truly matters. What You Will Contribute:
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your assigned kitchen section and ensuring consistent food quality, preparation standards, and operational efficiency. You will support the Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while contributing to the overall success of Koeta Rice Bowls.
What You Will Do:
Oversee the daily operations of your assigned kitchen section to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Prepare and present menu items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation while meeting the outlet's operational standards.
Supervise and support Kitchen Crew, providing guidance to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor ingredient quality, stock levels, and proper stock rotation (FIFO), while minimizing food waste.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in accordance with company SOPs and HACCP requirements.
Coordinate with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely food production during daily operations and peak service periods.
Perform other kitchen-related duties and support operational improvements as assigned by the Sous Chef.
Who We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a restaurant, café, or fast-casual dining environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, portion control, food safety, HACCP, inventory management, and kitchen operations
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and support junior kitchen team members
Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with basic English communication skills preferred
Detail-oriented, organized, passionate about culinary excellence, and committed to delivering consistent food quality and operational standards
