Enterprise Risk Management

Role Overview

This role is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and managing risks across the company, including financial, operational, fraud, and regulatory risks. The goal is to help build and run OSL's risk management function in Indonesia, working closely with our global risk teams and local compliance/audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the company's overall risk framework, including risk policies, risk limits, and how we track and report risks.
• Monitor real-time alerts and investigate suspicious accounts or transactions, and take action when needed (suspend accounts, hold or release withdrawals).
• Analyze trading behavior and look for unusual or risky patterns.
• Review and improve fraud detection rules based on what we learn from real cases.
• Handle risk related to fiat deposits and withdrawals, making sure issues are resolved quickly and safely.
• Assess risk across our crypto operations, including trading activity, transaction flows, and token/project sustainability.
• Prepare risk reports and updates for senior management, our Commissioner, and relevant committees.
• Work with internal audit, compliance, legal, and other teams to make sure our risk controls actually work and meet OJK requirements.
• Support the company during incidents or crises, helping coordinate the response.
• Stay aligned with our global risk team's standards while making sure we follow Indonesia's specific rules.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of Bachelor's degree in related industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management in crypto industry.
• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and how trading works.
• Familiar with AML/KYC rules and how financial regulations work.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Able to assess risk exposures and make sound, well-reasoned recommendations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment.
• Good communicator, comfortable working with different teams (product, data, compliance, legal).
• Comfortable presenting to senior management, the Commissioner, or leadership committees.
