Senior Design Engineer

Description

The role includes preparing design calculations developing engineering drawings ensuring compliance with international design codes and providing technical support throughout project execution.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering design for Pressure Vessels Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers (STHE) and Storage Tanks.
Prepare and review design calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable design codes.
Develop and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings based on approved design calculations.
Ensure all designs comply with client specifications datasheets and international standards.
Utilize PV design software such as PV Elite and COMPRESS to perform engineering calculations.
Coordinate with Project Engineers Drafting Production Procurement and QA/QC teams to support project
execution.
Provide technical clarification and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering issues as required.
Ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately and within project schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Pressure Vessel Design Engineering.
Proficient in PV Elite and COMPRESS software.
Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 & 2 ASME Section II TEMA and relevant engineering
standards.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
