Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading technology company specializing in digital infrastructure across banking, payments, and related services.

Job Responsibilities

This role will support network security, cloud security, secure protocols, and cybersecurity practices while responding effectively to potential security incidents.

• Maintain and monitor the security of IT infrastructure and network environments.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and TCP/IP-based networks.
• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud environments.
• Monitor security events and support the identification, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.
• Apply secure communication protocols and cryptographic principles to protect systems and data.
• Assess infrastructure and applications against recognized cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Support security assessments, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement of security controls.
• Collaborate with IT and other business teams to identify and mitigate infrastructure and cybersecurity risks.
• Maintain appropriate security documentation, reports, and incident records.
• Respond effectively to security incidents and other critical infrastructure issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, Network Security, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of cloud security and experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of cryptography and secure communication protocols.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and OWASP Top 10.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a security-focused mindset.
• Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure, particularly during security incidents.
• High level of ethics, integrity, and accountability.
• Good communication skills with strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to security-related tasks.
• Experience in the FinTech, payment systems, banking, or financial technology industry is a strong advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in Semarang.
