Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a fast-growing FMCG company specializing in baby kids and family personal care products. The company is focused on innovation consumer-centric product development and building strong brands that positively impact Indonesian families.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct the overarching R&D product innovation and packaging initiatives across skincare color cosmetics personal care and nutritional product lines.
• Drive the complete formulation lifecycle from initial raw material sourcing and prototype testing to pilot batches scale-up and full commercial launch.
• Lead the packaging development group evaluating packaging compatibility material integrity functional design cost efficiency and production readiness.
• Review and refine existing product formulas trial data and stability results while prioritizing pipeline projects against corporate timelines.
• Partner with Marketing Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance and Commercial leads to turn consumer insights and brand briefs into compliant market-ready offerings.
• Manage key relationships with contract manufacturers (OEM/ODM) external testing laboratories ingredient suppliers and packaging vendors.
• Establish technical governance internal workflows and SOPs while mentoring and upskilling the R&D and packaging teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Extensive background (15 years) in technical R&D product formulation and innovation management within cosmetics personal care skincare or FMCG (nutraceutical/supplement exposure is advantageous).
• Significant experience directing technical teams across formulation product development and packaging design.
• Solid grasp of raw material chemistry stability/compatibility testing GMP standards regulatory compliance and industrial manufacturing trials.
• Strong balance of deep technical formulation expertise with strategic project management and vendor negotiation capabilities.
