We are looking for a Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and support the culinary experience at DOME Restaurant. Reporting to the Head Chef this is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of culinary craft kitchen operations team development and thoughtful hospitality.
The Sous Chef will help bring DOMEs culinary direction to life support the team through each service and contribute to the continued development of its menu and dining experience. We are looking for someone who can combine strong culinary craft with a collaborative spirit and a genuine interest in what DOME represents.
What Youll Do
- Oversee daily kitchen operations keeping preparation and service running smoothly efficiently and on time
- Maintain high standards of flavour presentation portioning and ingredient quality across every dish
- Guide and develop the kitchen team through hands-on supervision training and strong standards of food safety and hygiene
- Support menu planning costing seasonal dishes and ingredient management while resolving day-to-day operational needs
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent with experience in a hotel or restaurant of a similar standard.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant culinary industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques kitchen management menu planning and recipe development.
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation with the ability to guide and support the kitchen team.
