Control and Protection Engineer

The Opportunity

Perform testing and commissioning for control and protection relay panels including protection, control, interlocking alarms and measurement to meet design and customer expectations. Generate test procedures and test reports for testing and commissioning. Able to troubleshoot during the commissioning process. Provide technical support to customers for protection application issues and communicate with the factory if required.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Contribute technically by performing testing and commissioning for control and protection panels.
• Generate test reports for testing and commissioning activities; provide technical support to customers regarding protection applications.
• Provide training for customers according to the project scope; give feedback to the engineering team on latest updates and applications at customer sites.
• Educate and communicate Hitachi Energy's latest technologies related to protection applications.
• Support the sales and bidding teams to provide the best solution for customers during tendering and site surveys.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
