Field Technician – ILI Pipeline Services

Position Summary The general role for the Field Technician is to ensure the proper execution of field work and coordination of the field activities.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, toolbox and all other required tools for use in the field, etc.

Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with PIPECARE QA / QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning Coordinate field activities between PIPECARE team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PIPECARE cleaning criteria Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PIPECARE procedures and operational requirement Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.

Accountability Timely Project execution within the assigned job role Perform and complete the job successfully Submission of daily reports General responsibilities Comply always and fully with PIPECARE HSE requirements Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time) Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard PIPECARE trade secrets Respect and support fellow employees at all times Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations) Act in such a manner that PIPECARE’s reputation is highly respected Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for PIPECARE’s final product Follow PIPECARE’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required Assure timely and accurate reporting to PIPECARE Identify training requirements Skills / Experience : Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level Fluency in English, the language of the Territory is an advantage Ability to travel extensively Industry : Oil & Gas Opening : 1 Physical and Mental Requirements : Lifting and Carrying : Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Mobility : Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.

Communication : Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.

Focus and Multitasking : Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.

Safety Equipment : Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if / where needed in manufacturing environments.

Personal Mobility and Reflexes : Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
