Job Purpose

The Accounting Lead is responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role involves strategic collaboration, technical accounting expertise, and process improvement.

Job Description

• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Oversee the preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial statements
• Oversee the general ledger, fixed assets, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
• Review financial reports and variance analyses
• Supervise and guide the accounting team
• Collaborate with FP&A, auditors, and other departments
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements as well as Group reporting
• Maintain and strengthen internal control framework
• Provide input for systems and process improvement initiatives
• Identify and resolve process inefficiencies and errors
• Engage in ERP implementation
• Actively support continuous improvement and any ad hoc projects
