General Manager – Indonesia (Health & Nutrition Distribution)

We are introducing a premium international health and nutrition product range into the Indonesian market — beginning with Bali. Our mission is to make high-quality wellness products accessible across Indonesia’s growing fitness and lifestyle community.

Role Overview

We are seeking a General Manager to lead the launch and growth of a new premium nutrition brand in Indonesia. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role that requires strong commercial acumen, strategic planning, and an established network across Bali’s hospitality, wellness, and fitness industries.

The General Manager will oversee market entry, distribution setup, budgeting and forecasting, partnership development, and brand awareness during the first 12 months of operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Entry & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy focused on the Bali region as a launch hub.
  • Establish relationships with key distributors, retailers, and strategic partners across the hospitality and wellness sectors.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with hotels, restaurants, cafes, gyms, and health spas.

2. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build and manage a B2B sales pipeline and develop key account relationships.
  • Negotiate partnerships, supply agreements, and collaboration deals.
  • Drive product visibility through targeted events, activations, and influencer collaborations.
  • 3. Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and sales targets.
  • Track and report on commercial performance, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Support pricing and margin strategies in coordination with regional leadership.
  • 4. Brand Awareness & Marketing

  • Lead local brand awareness initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to localize global brand assets and messaging.
  • Manage local PR, influencer marketing, and partnership‑driven brand visibility.
  • 5. Operations & Team Leadership

  • Oversee logistics, inventory, and supply chain operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a small local team or network of ambassadors as the business grows.
  • Ensure compliance with import, labeling, and regulatory standards in Indonesia.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in general management, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in launching or expanding consumer brands in Indonesia, ideally within the F&B, wellness, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial management experience.
  • Well‑connected within Bali’s hospitality, fitness, and wellness ecosystem.
  • Entrepreneurial and self‑starter mindset, capable of driving a new market entry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Key Success Metrics (First 12 Months)

  • Successful market entry and setup of distribution channels.
  • Securing initial B2B partnerships in hospitality, wellness, and retail.
  • Delivery of first‑year brand awareness and sales targets.
  • Establishment of a strong local presence and community network.
