Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment company, is recruiting on behalf of a leading chemical trading company in Indonesia. As part of their business expansion, our client is seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Senior Sales Executive to manage and grow the food ingredients division. The position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities within the food industry segment.
- Promote and sell raw materials and ingredients for food applications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and current market trends.
- Collaborate closely with the technical and formulation teams to provide product recommendations, application trials, and technical support.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and industry movements to identify potential growth areas and drive sales performance.
- Achieve sales targets and profitability goals through strategic sales planning and effective execution.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to support management decisions and strategic planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields from a reputable university.Minimum 3–7 years of working experience in the chemical or raw material ingredients industry, specifically handling the food segment (experience in fragrance ingredients for food is an advantage).Proven track record in sales and business development, with solid understanding of food formulations and applications.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.Proactive, target‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and market opportunities.Willing to travel as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
