They will monitor and evaluate student progress using varied formative and summative assessment strategies, provide timely and constructive feedback, and guide learners through structured inquiry, investigations, and project work. They will work collaboratively within the I&S department and across the Secondary School, contributing to unit planning, subject moderation, and ongoing professional reflection. They will maintain positive communication with students, colleagues, and parents, and they will actively contribute to a culture of wellbeing and pastoral care by facilitating regular wellbeing sessions. The teacher will also participate in the wider life of the school through involvement in enrichment, service learning, or humanities-related activities, including initiatives such as Model United Nations, sustainability projects, or fieldwork experiences.
