Company : Pullman Jakarta Indonesia, a luxury city hotel with 427 rooms and multiple dining venues, located in Thamrin CBD with easy access to public transport and major shopping districts.

What you will be doing

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of sales techniques, generate leads, and coach others while consistently arranging customer meetings and calls
  • Manage sales activities, including admin work, and maintain consistent communication with clients
  • Utilise Accor sales tools, loyalty programme, and other relevant platforms
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate commercial achievements
  • Strategically target and develop accounts, focusing on international and global segments
  • Make onsite and field presentations, attend trade shows, and participate in sales blitzes
  • Develop and implement action plans for short and long-term account growth, especially for MICE and group bookings
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of sales promises and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Mentor and develop junior sales team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, corporate clients, and travel agencies
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Negotiate and finalise complex contracts, ensuring adherence to company policies and maximising revenue potential
  • Drive innovation in sales strategies and techniques, adapting to evolving market conditions and customer needs

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a Sales position, preferably in a global hotel chain or luxury hospitality environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market
  • Exceptional ability to work and communicate effectively in a multinational environment
  • Professional communication skills with consumers, stakeholders, and regional office, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  • Confident personality with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • English – excellent oral and written skills; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable
  • Advanced computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales : strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint / Word), CRM systems, and sales analytics tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accor Tools (Global RFPs, Cvent, ANAIS etc.) and other industry-standard hospitality software
  • Self-motivated personality with a proven ability to work independently and as a great team player
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing team members, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and translate data into actionable sales strategies
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close complex, high-value deals
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and work non-standard hours when required
