Electromechanical Service Engineer

The center will be the first proton therapy system in Indonesia, located in the downtown of Jakarta near Monas National Monument. Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital is a military hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. Established in 1819, the hospital is the main hospital for the Indonesian Army.
The Proton Therapy Center will be equipped with IBA ProteusONE including :
- PBS dedicated nozzle
- CBCT
- UBTI
The installation of the Proton Therapy Center will start around November 2025 and will be delivered within 13 months.

As Electromechanical Service Engineer, you are responsible for installation, calibration and commissioning activities on the Proton Therapy Centre, with a specific focus on the electromechanical equipment.

As Electromechanical Service Engineer, you are responsible for :
During the installation phase (+ / - 12 months)
Participating in the installation of the IBA equipment on the Proton Therapy site with a specific focus on the electro-mechanical equipment (Gantry, Power Supply Cabinets, Electrical wiring, X-Ray equipment, etc.)Testing, calibrating and validating the equipment according to the specifications and ensuring the customer requirements are met in terms of compliance, quality, technical performance and timingCritically analyzing data to diagnose potential technical problemsCollaborating intensively during installation and commissioning phase with subcontractors to supervise the installation until the start-up of equipmentTroubleshooting the equipment including solving electrical and mechanical issuesEnsuring the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and servicesDuring the Customer Service phase
Maintaining and troubleshooting the equipmentOperating the system and providing technical support to the medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operationsEnsuring the client requirements are met in terms of technical performance, timing and safetyCarrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (shift work)Upgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the R&D and other departmentsWhat we value
You have :
A Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or an equivalent experienceA sound experience in electronics / electrical system troubleshooting, mechanical system design and repairTechnical knowledge of cooling systems, vacuum systems, PLC’s regulation loops, drivers, sensors, electric motors, positioning equipment, high and low voltage equipmentThe ability to troubleshoot complex system issuesStrong written and verbal communication skills in English and IndonesianKnowledge of local EHS regulationsAnd you also are :
Able to follow procedures and you able to deliver on strict deadlinesAnalytical, with good troubleshooting skills, able to identify root cause of issuesWilling to share your knowledge in your area of expertiseA team player with strong interpersonal skillsWilling to travel extensively during the training period (+ / - 6 months)A flexible person, willing to work in rotating shift work, night work and weekends (up to 50% of your time)Life at IBA
