Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and ensure they follow GAAP and local standards. Provide financial reports to management.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) : Manage AR processes like invoicing, collections, and reconciling accounts. Monitor AR aging and perform cash / bank reconciliation.
• Accounts Payable (AP) : Oversee AP, journal entries, accruals, and expenses. Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts like accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Costing & Inventory : Maintain accurate inventory costing systems, monitor stock levels, and analyze turnover. Manage write-offs and identify areas for improvement.
• Financial Planning & Analysis : Prepare budgets, forecasts, and analyze financial trends to support decision-making.
• Store Profitability : Analyze sales, costs, and profits for stores, identify high / low-performing locations, and offer recommendations.
• Channel Profitability : Evaluate profitability across sales channels (online, in-store, wholesale), assess marketing strategies, and allocate resources.
• Team Management : Lead an accounting team, offer training, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
