As Interface & Market Engineer , you will be involved in the technical design, the compiling of market and supplier’s information and the commercial proposal preparation of solar and storage solutions. Your work location : regularly on your Equans site, as well as at our customers locations throughout Belgium. Your Equans base : Nivelles.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and develop electrical and mechanical layouts for photovoltaic and storage (behind the meter) power plants
• Review preliminary conceptual designs up to detailed engineering calculations, including energy yield assessments and system sizing
• Build partnerships with equipment suppliers and service providers to develop competitive energy solutions
• Set up procurement strategies by specifying technical requirements for equipment and materials
• Collaborate with engineering teams, sales teams, suppliers, and subcontractors during the pre-sales phase
• Ensure all designs comply with codes, standards, and client requirements
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during installation and commissioning
• Support continuous improvement by researching and integrating new technologies and best practices
