What you will do :
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including QA testers, developers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and understand technical aspects of our products.
- Creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and API documentation.
- Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials, following established style guidelines.
- Conducting thorough research to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
- Participating in product development meetings and collaborating with team members to understand new features and enhancements.
- Working closely with the QA team to understand testing processes, methodologies, and results in order to accurately document software functionality.
- Reviewing and editing existing documentation to improve readability and usability.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and IT product development.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical writing role, preferably in an IT product development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including QA methodologies and practices.
- Experience working with JIRA or other project management and issue tracking tools.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, Markdown, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to organize and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
