Job Description

As a Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include :

• Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies to support organisational goals.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team to achieve operational excellence.
• Analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost-saving and revenue growth.
• Collaborating with senior management to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Implementing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have :

• At least a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (CPA, CA, or equivalent) are preferred.
• Tax certifications such as Tax Brevet and Certified Tax Consultant are required.
• Combined Big 4 external audit and commercial Retail industry background.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience with 2 years as Manager / Supervisor level.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and local accounting principles (PSAK).
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
