Responsibilities
- Review and calculate the tax implications of any payment request.
- Prepare draft tax calculations, ID Billing, and tax returns for monthly and annual tax compliance purposes and ensure timely payment & submission.
- Create tax invoices (VAT OUT) to completed documentation invoice submission to clients.
- Reconcile VAT invoices to transactions recorded in the systems.
- Reconcile withholding tax slips (WHT Art.23, 4(2), 26) to transactions recorded in the systems.
- Handle all tax inquiries from the tax office (including SP2DK, tax audit and other tax disputes).
- Handle all other tax‑related matters by assignment.
- Monitor updates in tax laws and apply them to business practices.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax, with a minimum of 4‑5 years of experience in tax compliance.Strong knowledge of CIT, VAT and withholding tax reporting.Experience in handling SP2DK or tax audit highly preferred.Brevet A & B certified.Proficient in Indonesian tax reporting systems (DJP Online and Coretax).Detail‑oriented, able to meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Akulaku is a leading internet company focused on E‑Commerce and Online Financial Services in Southeast Asia with operations in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam.
