We are looking for an experienced presales professional with deep expertise in the utility industry to partner with sales executives and drive complex deals. The Principal Solution Consultant will focus on Oracle Utilities solutions, especially in enterprise asset management, mobility, ADMS, and operational technology.

Responsibilities

Develop industry expertise and deepen knowledge of Oracle Utilities solutions and service offerings.
Engage clients to uncover business challenges and priorities; facilitate workshops to identify client needs.
Craft tailored solutions from Oracle Utilities applications that address customer business issues and future plans.
Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and partners by providing solutions to their business challenges.
Enable the sales team to pitch the right solution for the customer.
Prepare and deliver impactful demonstrations of Oracle Utilities solutions that illustrate the value of Oracle in a clear and understandable manner.
Work on large, complex sales opportunities that require creative and sophisticated solutions.
Assist in training the sales team and partners on how to sell new products and features and collaborate with the presales team on configuration and demonstration.
Collaborate with sales executives to define sales strategy and project plans for high‑value, strategically important deals.

Qualifications

6+ years of presales, software training, or management consulting experience.

Experience in the utility industry, focusing on Enterprise Asset and Mobile Workforce processes, with additional operational knowledge preferred.

Strong verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to technical, business, and executive audiences.

Demonstrated success in presenting enterprise applications and complex solution concepts to skilled and industry audiences.

Ability to translate client issues into effective and achievable solutions.

Strong written communication skills, including slide development and document authoring.

Capability to manage presales projects, maintain detail, and be accountable within a team.

Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.

Ability to work from a home office and travel regularly, including possible international travel.
