Job descriptionBachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or Law. Minimum 10 years of tax-related experience, with at least 5 years as Tax Manager / Director in Indonesia or equivalent in Big 4 firms. In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax law and international tax treaties (DTA, transfer pricing rules, etc.). Strong communication skills with both tax authorities and stakeholders. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus How many years' experience do you have as a Tax Director? Are you available to travel for this role when required? Which of the following languages are you fluent in?
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all tax matters for the company in Indonesia, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency and compliance.
- Manage corporate income tax, VAT, customs duties, transfer pricing, and other relevant tax areas.
- Participate in due diligence and risk assessment for investment and M&A projects.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Indonesian tax authorities (DJP) and relevant government bodies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team.
- Provide professional tax advice to headquarters (China) and subsidiaries in Indonesia regarding compliance and cross-border transactions.
