Job descriptionProven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production systems on AWS. Hands-on experience with : EC2 (setup, scaling, maintenance) AWS Lambda (deployment, monitoring, cost optimization) API Gateway (configuration, security, scaling) AWS VPN solutions DynamoDB (design, performance tuning, cost management) Elasticsearch / OpenSearch (deployment, monitoring, scaling) ScyllaDB or similar distributed NoSQL databases Strong experience maintaining and improving CI / CD pipelines Solid understanding of AWS security best practices, IAM roles / policies, and secure networking. Experience in performance optimization, cost management, and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar). Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work across technical and business stakeholders. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). Familiarity with serverless frameworks (AWS SAM, Serverless Framework). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and monitoring. Experience with PowerShell for Windows-based environments. Background in fintech, SaaS, or other high-availability systems. IBMC is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company specializing in the fintech industry . We are looking for a S enior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative engineering team. This role will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and reliable systems, while driving automation and best practices across the engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure to support scalable and secure applications.
- Manage and improve CI / CD pipelines to streamline deployments and ensure system reliability.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across AWS environments.
- Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, networking, and data protection measures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to architect cloud solutions for new features and services.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, develop disaster recovery strategies, and ensure operational resilience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance on AWS and DevOps best practices to the wider engineering team.
