Clean Air Asia is an international non-governmental organization leading the regional mission for better air quality and healthier, more livable cities throughout Asia. Our mission is to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in Asia and contribute to a more sustainable, equitable and healthier region. We empower governments and cities by inspiring action and focusing efforts on the planning and implementation of solutions at scale, fostering regional cooperation to address issues of mutual concern, and ensuring the integration of air quality management across sectors and institutions. Our work focuses on implementing solutions that reduce air pollution, its health impacts and mitigate the climate crisis. We provide policy guidance, build capacity, and make a compelling case for action among stakeholders at city, national, and regional levels. Since 2008, we have been a United Nations-recognized partnership comprised of more than 250 organizations in Asia and internationally, with six Country Networks (Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam). Our headquarters are in Manila, Philippines, with offices in Beijing, China, and New Delhi, India. Clean Air Asia is expanding its portfolio to conduct work to achieve clean air and combat climate change in Indonesia. Under the Indonesia office, our portfolio includes promoting clean air action plans, providing research to formulate evidence-based policies, and implementing solutions to achieve clean air in cities.
We are currently recruiting for a Sustainable Mobility Lead on a full-time consultancy contract to join our dynamic team in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are looking for someone with experience in researching transportation related to air quality management, project management, implementing low carbon transportation projects including EV adoption in Indonesia, familiarity with working with the Indonesian government, and good teamwork skills.
Job Purpose
To provide technical assistance and support to project implementation, management, and stakeholder engagement, as well as deliver outputs in accordance with Clean Air Asia’s standards.
