The following role outlines responsibilities, requirements, and context for the Commercial Finance Manager position in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main finance business partner to the Commercial department (Sales, Marketing, and Export) and lead controls, compliance, and governance of trade spend, marketing spend, and selling costs.
• Plan, report, control, and perform financial analysis related to the overall P&L, sales, trade spend (including trade promo effectiveness and governance), net sales, channel profitability, brand / SKU profitability, marketing spend, and selling costs. Include strategic planning, annual operating plan targets and budgets, monthly projections, month-end close (journal entries, true-ups, reconciliations, accruals), and leadership-deck reporting.
• Provide financial analysis (P&L) for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives (gate approvals and post-launch evaluation), annual brand plan, and other expansion projects.
• Represent Finance in IBP sessions, weekly sales calls, trade spend governance, NPD gate approvals, and other commercial leadership forums.
• Lead the transaction processing team to ensure validity, accuracy, compliance, and correct accounting treatment for trade spend, marketing spend, and selling cost related claims.
