PURPOSE
A key player in Global Sourcing, driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Responsible for development, commercialization, product integrity, manufacturability, and Create to Value (CTV), ensuring performance targets FOB for all products within assigned categories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead development and commercialization for assigned categories, ensuring products exceed customer expectations in fit, comfort, design integrity, performance, perceived value, manufacturability, and quality.
- Oversee the development process between Headquarters / Creation Center and Tier 1 factories.
- Manage cross-functional Sourcing teams to prioritize product integrity and Create to Value.
- Build and maintain relationships with factory development leaders to enhance sports category competencies and innovation capabilities.
- Apply sports and product expertise to influence category direction.
- Make development and commercialization decisions within scope.
- Provide input on directives related to development and commercialization.
- Collaborate with HQ (Design, Marketing, Brand Ops, Quality) and external partners, promoting principles-centered rather than policy-driven approaches, aligned with adidas Standards.
- Ensure sourcing practices comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, standards, and legal requirements.
- Develop and coach team members, fostering high performance, skill development, and succession planning.
- Model leadership to promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the workplace.
