What you can expect

Preferred by Nature is looking for an AI & Digital Transformation Specialist to support our digital transformation journey. You will analyse workflows, identify opportunities for AI and automation, and guide the design and adoption of tools that improve efficiency and impact. Working across programmes and operations, you will translate user needs into solutions, strengthen digital fluency through training, and champion ethical AI practices. This role is central to embedding digital tools in ways that support people, nature, and the climate.

Working with us is never routine, so in your first year you can expect the following areas to be central to your work.

• Analyse workflows and identify opportunities where AI and digital tools can add immediate value.
• Conduct build-vs-buy assessments and prepare clear business cases with cost-benefit and risk analyses.
• Collaborate with teams to understand user needs and ensure AI solutions are embedded into daily workflows.
• Deliver training and create accessible documentation to strengthen digital fluency and responsible AI adoption.
• Support change management and champion ethical, inclusive, and effective use of AI.
• Contribute to the development of AI governance standards and continuous improvement of digital tools.
