Overview
The incumbent is responsible for handling and controlling all procurement processes efficiently and effectively to support the company. This includes inventory of raw materials, control of production planning, and control over the delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with corporate policies and standards
- Implement sourcing strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and ensure a consistent supply of high quality goods and services
- Identify and monitor potential suppliers, building strong relationships to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers to meet the needs of the company and its business units. Monitor the quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of inventory according to the demands of the sales department
- Implement strategies aimed at reducing costs, improving processes, and ensuring procurement best practices are followed across the organization
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or equivalentAt least 10 years of working experience in the fields of Procurement and Warehouse management at an industrial company, with 5 years in a Supervisory positionFluent in English, both spoken and writtenStrong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies and vendor managementAttention to details and accuracy, with strong understanding in inventory and demand managementStrong analytical, planning, negotiating, and problem solving skillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, to convey complex information clearly to team members and other stakeholdersPreferably experienced with SAP FICO#J-18808-Ljbffr
