Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement and Logistic Manager with solid experience in the mining industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading procurement and logistics operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing supply chain efficiency, supporting strategic sourcing and vendor management. This role requires a deep understanding of mining operations, Indonesian transport challenges, and contract governance.

Main Duties

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with operational and financial goals
• Lead vendor selection and tendering processes for major mining contracts
• Oversee logistics operations, including coal transportation from mine sites to ports
• Ensure compliance with Minerba Law (Law No. 3 / 2020) and ESG standards in procurement activities
• Implement digital procurement platforms to enhance transparency and reduce risks

Job Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and logistics, with at least 5 years in a mining company

Proven track record of successful engagement with government officials / regulatory bodies and have an established network with suppliers and vendors in mining industry

Knowledge

Strong understanding of Indonesian mining laws, environmental regulations, and licensing procedures

Skills

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Excellent networking with potential supplier and vendors

Strategic thinking and policy analysis capabilities

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Language Skills

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia

Proficient in English (spoken and written) for communication with national and international stakeholders.
