Job Description

• Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and convert them into Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and efficiently.
• Source materials, goods, and services based on specifications provided by user departments.
• Conduct supplier comparisons and analysis based on price, quality, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with existing vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve operational issues (e.g., discrepancies in quantity or quality).
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous and reliable supply.
• Monitor and track the status of all outstanding orders and expedite deliveries when necessary.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse / Logistics team regarding the receipt and quality inspection of incoming goods.
• Maintain and update the procurement database, supplier files, and price lists accurately in (Specify System, e.g., Excel or SAP).
• Manage and file all procurement documentation (PO, invoices, contracts, delivery notes).
