Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting or inventory control, preferably in manufacturing, textile, or fashion retail. Strong knowledge of cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Able to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple deadlines. Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and maintain accurate cost accounting records and standard costing systems.
- Analyze production costs, inventory valuations, and variances; provide regular reporting to management.
- Coordinate inventory counts and cycle counts across all departments and ensure proper reconciliation.
- Work closely with the Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
- Lead monthly inventory closing and coordinate with the Finance team for timely reporting.
- Implement and monitor internal controls related to cost and inventory systems.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in system enhancements.
