Location This role is based remotely as a full‑time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Israel, the Netherlands, and Sweden. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity As a Software Engineer (Cloud‑Focused), you will be working on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product and implementing new features. You'll collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and developers from other teams, actively participating in product‑making decisions.

In this role you will focus on building and optimizing solutions using AI and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization and performance at scale. You’ll work on enhancing Ava, our AI Assistant, and a feature known as Cloud Diagram, which helps customers visualize and streamline their cloud infrastructure.

You will play a key role in solving complex technical challenges, such as building scalable AI‑based systems and integrating cloud intelligence into our platform.

Responsibilities

• Implement features from proposal through spec, implementation, to maintenance, and propose enhancements that add value.
• Review code – participate in pull‑request reviews.
• Improve the health of the codebase – dedicate one day per week to housekeeping to avoid technical debt.
• Provide feedback – collaborate on planning, discuss upcoming work, and identify challenges and unknowns early.
