The Role : This is a unique opportunity to function as a key strategic partner to the CEO's office, focusing on high-impact initiatives that will drive the company's next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical rigor, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep understanding of the consumer goods landscape. You will be responsible for a wide range of strategic projects, from ideation to execution.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Business Development :
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, product categories, and business models to expand the company's footprint and revenue streams.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to support strategic decisions.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, financial models, and strategic plans for new ventures.
2. New Product & Category Development :
Drive the end-to-end process of new product and category development, from initial concept to market launch.Collaborate closely with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Operations) to ensure alignment and successful execution.Analyze consumer trends and market gaps to innovate and bring new, compelling products to our portfolio.3. Strategic Partnerships & Alliances :
Source, evaluate, and negotiate new business partnerships and strategic alliances that complement our existing capabilities and open new avenues for growth.Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.Represent the company in discussions with external parties, demonstrating a strong understanding of our vision and strategic goals.4. CEO Office Support :
Work on special projects and ad-hoc strategic assignments as directed by the CEO, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings.Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is a significant plus.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a relevant role, such as Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, or a CEO Office function, preferably within the FMCG or distribution sector.Demonstrated experience in new business and / or product development.Proven track record of identifying and executing on new strategic partnerships.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
